As such, we provide this privacy statement explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used at this site, and among Baldy Beanbag’s affiliated websites.

The terms "we", "us", " TheBigMagoo" and "Baldy Beanbag" refer to Baldy Beanbag, Inc. The terms "you" and "your" refer to you, as a user of any of the Baldy Beanbag Sites. The term "personal information" means information about you that is personally identifiable, such as your name, phone number, email address, or any data that is tied to such information.

Information We Collect and How We Use It

We use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that the collection of personal information is limited to that which is necessary for us to provide our full range of services. We offer a number of services that do not require you to register for an account or provide any personal information to us, such as The Gazette and the Resort listings. If you have any hesitation about providing such information to us and/or having such information displayed on the Baldy Beanbag Sites or otherwise used in any manner permitted in this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service, you should not provide that information or become a site member.

We collect your personal information in the following ways:

Account information. Account registration on a Baldy Beanbag Site is done by connecting your existing Facebook account to a Baldy Beanbag Site account. This account connection is governed by Facebook’s Platform Guidelines. The Baldy Beanbag Site will only connect to your Facebook account after you authorize it. Once connected, we will access information available on your Facebook account, such as your picture and your name, to personalize your member account on the Baldy Beanbag Sites.

If you register an account on the Baldy Beanbag Sites, we ask for and record additional personal information, such as your snow sports background and interests. Any information you provide may be displayed to members of your buddy list. It may also be forwarded to your Facebook account, if you authorize it. Non-personally identifiable information (such as the fact a video was uploaded) may be displayed on public pages.

Submissions. We store and may publicly display your submissions in order to provide the services that we offer. The term "submissions" refers to the information that you submit or post to the Baldy Beanbag Sites for public display, such as want ads, resort reviews, photos, videos, and the information that you display as part of your account profile. Depending on the context, submissions may be displayed anonymously or with your Facebook account name. For example, want ad and video submissions are displayed anonymously to non-members and displayed with your Facebook account name to members of your buddy list.

Content Ratings. If you submit a rating for the Baldy Beanbag content on our site (such as resort facilities), the rating is recorded along with the IP Address of the submitter. This data is used to prevent rating manipulation by a single user. The rating and IP Address of the submitter is held anonymously and is not tied to other user data.

Want Ads. If you submit a want ad to a Baldy Beanbag site, we collect information necessary to post your ad for public viewing. We do not include your personally identifiable information in the public posting of your want ad, unless you include in within your ad submission. We may display your ad information along with your Facebook account name to members of your buddy list as part of a news posting. If you reply to a want ad, we store the message in our database and send your message to the ad submitter.

Group Trips. If you submit a group trip to a Baldy Beanbag site, we collect information necessary to post your group trip for viewing by all registered members of the Baldy Beanbag site. Some information, like the group trip headline, will also be viewable by the general public (non-members of the Baldy Beanbag site). Some information, such as the trip organizer’s contact information, will also be only available to registered members of the Baldy Beanbag site who have signed up for the group trip. We will generally note what information will be available to the public and what information will be available only to members who have signed up for the group trip, otherwise the information is available to all registered members of the Baldy Beanbag site.

Feedback. If you contact us to provide feedback, register a complaint, or ask a question, we will record any personal information and other content that you provide in your communication so that we can effectively respond to your communication.

Personal messaging. In order to allow you to send and receive personal messages to other registered users of the Baldy Beanbag Sites, we record the messages that you send and receive using the Baldy Beanbag Sites' personal messaging feature.

Activity. We record information relating to your use of the Baldy Beanbag Sites, such as the searches you undertake, the pages you view, your browser type, IP address, requested URL, referring URL, and timestamp information. We use this type of information to administer the Baldy Beanbag Sites and provide the highest possible level of service to you. Children Between the Ages of 13 and 18

We recommend that minors 13 years of age or older ask their parents for permission before sending any information about themselves to anyone over the Internet.

Third Party Content and Services

Baldy Beanbag partners with several third party vendors to provide content and services of interest to users, such as the gear store and the travel site. Baldy Beanbag uses commercially reasonable efforts to discriminate third party content and services from its own content, while also tying both into a common website appearance. If as part of their service, a third party vendor collects information from you, the use of this information is governed by the third party's privacy policy.

Third Party Advertisers

Advertisements displayed in our websites are provided by outside companies. These ads may use cookies and/or Web beacons. Unlike cookies used by Baldy Beanbag in content it controls at its websites, cookies or Web beacons received with advertisements are collected by our advertisers and we do not have access to this information. We use reputable third parties to serve all of the advertisements that are placed within our sites and they may use information about your visits to our sites and other sites to assist in serving advertisements to you. They may share information with their clients such as the date/time the advertisement was shown, the specific ad shown, the IP address, etc.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise provide your personally identifiable information to third parties for marketing purposes. We will only share your personally identifiable information with third parties to carry out your instructions or to provide specific services or information. For instance, activity information may be sent to Facebook, if you authorize such publishing.

We may share your personal information with our parent company, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under a common control (collectively, "Affiliates") that we may have now or in the future, in which case we will require them to honor this Privacy Policy. If another company acquires our company or our assets, that company will possess your personal information, and will assume the rights and obligations with respect to that information as described in this Privacy Policy.

We may disclose information in the aggregate to third parties relating to user behavior in connection with actual or prospective business relationship with those third parties, such as advertisers and content distributors. For example, we may disclose the number of users that have been exposed to, or clicked on, advertising banners.

We use third party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit the Baldy Beanbag Sites. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.

Others' Information

You may choose to provide us with another person's e-mail address so that person may be invited to create an account on this website and become your friend. We use this information to contact and, if necessary, remind that person about the invitation. Controlling Your Personal Data

To the extent you include personal information in your submissions (such as a photo of yourself), third parties may be able to identify you, associate you with your user account, and contact you. Please do not include information in your submissions that you expect to keep private.

Please also note that the personal messages you send or receive using the Baldy Beanbag Sites' personal messaging feature are only private to the extent that you and the sender/recipient keep them private. For example, we do not have any control over whether a recipient of one of your personal messages publicly posts the contents of such a message.
